As from the 1 January E.M.M. International BV has appointed Peter the Roo as International Product Manager Hamach. De Roo already has a successful history within the E.M.M. organisation as Market Manager Deco & Marine. In his new job he will strengthen the marketing team.

Also as from the 1 January Hugo Hemel will be E.M.M.`s new Manager Marketing Communications. He will be in charge of the marketing and communications activities for the whole E.M.M. group. Hemel has previously worked as a Product Manager for the Dutch national Marketing and Sales Company of Volvo Car Corporation and Louwman & Parqui (Dutch distributor of Lexus and Toyota).

As from the 1 January, E.M.M. Holding B.V. has become the official owner of CWN – Cabinebouw Warmtetechniek Nederland. CWN supplies complete interiors for spray booths. With this acquisition, E.M.M. becomes an even bigger all-round supplier in the car body repair market.

E.M.M. Holding B.V. is per 1 januari 2008 officieel eigenaar geworden van de Uithoornse handelmaatschappij Henk Endstra B.V. Endstra is een gespecialiseerde leverancier van professionele schilders- en autospuitmaterialen en heeft hierin een zeer sterke reputatie opgebouwd. De overname van dit gerenommeerde familiebedrijf stelt E.M.M. dan ook in staat om nog beter gestalte te geven aan de groeiambities van haar Deco activiteiten.

Colad Stick & Go is a self adhesive foil specially manufactured for protecting workshop, mixing room and spray booth floors as well as being an ideal solution to apply to work surfaces such as stainless steel table tops and paint mixing areas. The time saved by the application of Colad Stick & Go is an important contribution to the efficiency in the modern car repair shop.

In a workshop environment having high quality and kink resistant air hoses is top priority. The demands that our customers place upon such products are great. This leads E.M.M. to add a “NEW” type of high pressure hose to the existing range :the PVC high pressure air hose, having an inner diameter of 10 and an outer diameter of 17 mm. We are confident that this hose will certainly become the standard within the market.

EMM introduces the “NEW” Colad 100 m. translucent re-coatable masking foil. This synthetic masking foil with it’s newly designed width of 6 meters has been produced specifically to tackle those larger jobs within the bodyshop and overall repair process. Its increased size allows for easy masking of high and wide vehicles such as MPV’s, SUV’s, and delivery vans etc.

E.M.M. International BV is proud to announce that following an international press conference held Wednesday 27th & Thursday 28th June in the Netherlands the "NEW" Colad Paint Cup System was un-veiled.

Zwolle, May 31st 2007 - E.M.M., manufacturer of excellent sanding machines facilitates sanding in the preparatory stage with 2 new pneumatic planetary sanding machines, namely the Hamach PHP 165 V and PHP 300 V. Two powerful machines with a sanding pad of respectively 150 and 200 mm. Both machines give a top performance when sanding old paint or lacquer and pre sanding filler spots. These new Hamach sanders are currently available.

E.M.M. is a prominent exhibitor on the international fair Automechanika Asia. Together with its local importer Lianma Enterprise SDN BHD the start has been very positive, and local customers have shown great interest. E.M.M. has a worldwide presence on the automotive car refinish market both for OEM and aftermarket. The team of E.M.M. at the Automechanika Asia consists of Paul Siero, Marte van de Meulen, Peter de Roo and Thomas van der Kooij. Furthermore, the Malaysian importer contributes three local sales executives. The exhibition runs from March 29th until April 1st at the KL Convention Centre, next to the Petronas twin towers.

Zwolle, 22 March 2007 – E.M.M. International B.V., producer and distributor of non paint products, has lent her support to a very special project of the Bart Foundation. This project is to build a sailing boat on which young people with a disorder can learn how to sail. The progress of the project and her sponsors have been shown at the Dutch HISWA fair from 6 – 11 March.

Zwolle, 2 maart 2007 - E.M.M., manufacturer of excellent sanding machines facilitates sanding in the preparatory stage with 2 new electrical 150 mm. random orbital sanding machines, namely the Hamach EH 65 VE and EH 63 VE. Two powerful machines with a sanding deflection of resp. 5 and 3 mm. With the help of the digital speed regulator the user determines the desired sanding speed. These new Hamach sanders will be available from March 2007.

Since September 2006 Klaus Trapp is E.M.M. Internationals newest Regional Sales Manager Export. He will be responsible for the Caribbean, Canada and Middle and South America with exception of Mexico and Brazil. For the last five years Mr. Trapp has worked with Sata as export manager for spray guns and accessories and brings over 15 years of international selling experience to E.M.M.

Since the establishment of E.M.M. UK the organisation has developed and grown, making an expansion of the sales team necessary. The right candidate has been found in Daniel Burtenshaw. As of now he will be looking after key and group accounts whilst maintaining existing core focuses through the Colad & Hamach brands. He has a wealth of experience in both product and applications and through his previous jobs in the Automotive Aftermarket and will fit into the team of colleagues at EMM UK perfectly.

Vanaf 15 januari is Jeroen van de Berg de nieuwe aanwinst van het Verkoop Buitendienst-team van E.M.M. International BV. Als Junior accountmanager Deco wordt hij de nieuwe collega van Peter de Roo - Market Manager Deco. De 26 jarige wordt verantwoordelijk voor de verkoop in het noordoosten, oosten en zuidoosten van Nederland.

E.M.M. introduces a complete new generation dust extraction units as part of its programme. The extraction units are equipped with powerful motors between 1300 and 1400 watt which provide improved extraction. Frankfurt, September 15th 2006. EMM Sweden is now an actual fact. On the third day of the AUTOMECHANIKA in Frankfurt, Paul Siero, CEO of EMM INTERNATIONAL B.V. and Leila Johansson, director of the new establishment officially shook hands. E.M.M. INTERNATIONAL is constantly expanding - in the previous years affiliates were acquired in Poland and the U.K and with this handshake the establishment of EMM SVERIGE AB, the ninth affiliate has been sealed.

Zwolle, 12th September2006. At the Automechanika, held from 12th to and incl. 17th September in Frankfurt, E.M.M. is, as always a prominent participant. The company presents itself with a surface area of at least 500 m² - the largest area in hall 9.2 ! For the fifth consecutive AUTOMECHANIKA EMM ranges itself with the other participants of the section Colortec. The stand number is D06.

Repeatedly EMM has been confronted with the problem of insufficient lighting in the car body working areas. When a car is brought in for paint spraying it is difficult to ascertain the precise paint shade on the basis of spray samples as there are so many colour shades which vary under different light circumstances. Every professional car painter recognizes this problem - also with metallic and effect paints. Sometimes the painted car in the workshop appears to be a different colour shade than in the daylight - this is not a fault of the painter but is due to the less than optimal light conditions.

With the introduction of the Colad Oily Wast Can HD-PE E.M.M. has again taken up an environment friendly product.

EMM international, delivered through its affiliates is ready to launch it’s own Training Academy – an innovative series of sales training modules for professionals throughout the Automotive sector. Each module and course will be presented to an international group of EMM customers. The Academy launch will take place on September 12th during the Automechanika exhibition in Frankfurt, Germany : During this period the Top 20 customers from the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, France, Spain and Italy will receive the training.

Zwolle, 24 februari 2006 – De nieuwe Hamach Dynamic Titanium schuurlijn zorgt voor een opvallend goed schuurresultaat. Dat blijkt uit de onderzoeken die producent E.M.M. International, samen met vooraanstaande lakfabrikanten, recent heeft uitgevoerd. Kwaliteit en design gaan bij de nieuwe toplijn hand in hand. Het nieuwe synthetische verfzeefje van EMM wordt door een promotieteams bij schadebedrijven geïntroduceerd. ‘Want met beurzen bereik je de man op de werkvloer niet meer.’

30 JANUARI 2006 - ZWOLLE - Het kwam niet op het journaal en de kranten stonden er niet bol van. Maar binnen het wereldje van de autoschadeherstelbedrijven betekende het toch min of meer wel een revolutie. Na meer dan veertig jaar kwam er een einde aan het bestaan van het papieren verfzeefje. Het Zwolse bedrijf EMM International is er verantwoordelijk voor door de ontwikkeling van een honderd procent synthetische opvolger.

During a press conference in Zwolle, The Netherlands, on Monday, 23rd January 2006, Mr. Paul Siero, the CEO of E.M.M. INTERNATIONAL B.V. gave the starting signal for a national introduction of a new Colad product.

E.M.M. International BV is the first supplier of 100% Synthetic Paint Strainers. An absolute ecological solution because one synthetic material results in only one type of waste product. The complete set consists of four different ‘microns’, a transparent dispenser box, a red funnel to hold the strainers and a metal spray gun holder.

A good two years after the production of the first Colad ® Nitrile Gloves, EMM International sold the 20 millionth specimen – an enormous success of this personal safety product. Managing Director, Paul Siero is pleasantly surprised but not amazed by this result : “the properties of the Colad® Nitrile Gloves make this product very popular with our customers. It is a hypo-allergen protective agent for which the demand is steadily increasing and when the sales have reached this super milestone, it does not leave one indifferent ! “

E.M.M. international neemt van 6 - 12 november deel aan de Nederlandse handelsmissie naar Brazilië. Samen met een veertigtal bedrijven onderzoekt het de groeimogelijkheden op de Braziliaanse markt. Minister Maria van der Hoeven begeleidt de handelsmissie.

From 16th to 20th November 2005 the NEC Wheelchair Tennis Masters will be held in Amersfoort – The Netherlands. The 8 best sports men and women from the international list of candidates will contend for the title. In spite of increased interest for handicap sport the last years, this event has not received the attention it deserves. E.M.M. an international company with its head-office in Amersfoort underlines the importance of this event by sponsoring it.

Zwolle, October 2005 E.M.M. International is introducing another item to the range of Personal Safety products: Colad® Preparation Gloves.

Zwolle, 27th January 2005 EMM continues to be a leader in the field of personal safety. After introducing Colad spray coats and carbon overalls EMM now introduces the COLAD FR overalls which have specially been developed for use by the professional car painter.

As sponsor of the Dutch participants of WORLDSKILLS 2005 in Helsinki, E.M.M. looks back with pride at the successfull end results. Young craftsmen up to 22 years old from all over the world did their utmost and presented themselves as true professionals. After a strict selection and maximum preparation in their own countries the world championships followed without precedence. 35 different disciplines including Autobody Repair and Car Painting contended for gold. In order to obtain the best results for their assignments Colad and Hamach products were intensively used – a logical choice considering the high quality and reliability of these brands. E.M.M. Spain will be a prominent exhibitor at the Motortec 2005. During the fair E.M.M. will pay extra attention to Central Vacuum Systems and Mixing Area Equipment.

On 1th January E.M.M. UK, affiliate of E.M.M. International B.V. will take over the activities of A.D.C. AUCHARD DEVELOPMENT CO. LTD. For many years Auchard has been active in the UK market in the field of non-paint products and is also the exclusive importer of COLAD products for the UK. E.M.M. will be set up in Southam W. and will market the popular Colad products as well as the HAMACH line in the UK.

On September 14th 2004, EMM INTERNATIONAL B.V. took over the exclusive distribution rights of GCS INTERNATIONAL B.V., from the VANESCH Group, to sell and distribute Stainless Steel mixing area equipment. With this take-over, EMM INTERNATIONAL B.V. has become the exclusive supplier and manufacturer of Stainless Steel mixing area equipment and can now also sell this equipment world-wide. This activity will be coupled directly to the already well-known HAMACH CENTRAL VACUUM program, which gets installed by our expert electricians as well as the Stainless Steel mixing area equipment, locally and abroad.
